In this course, we’ll cover how to piece, quilt and how to create and sew on bias binding to cover curved edges.
As the name suggests, one jelly roll will make one 50-inch diameter tree skirt. We are going to strip piece the diamonds and use a 60-degree ruler to offset the start of the strip rows to make the most of the fabric.
While I wouldn’t suggest this project for a true beginner, it isn’t too hard. So a confident beginner ready for a challenge or intermediate quilter could make it without becoming a sweary sewist.
