Night Sky
Night Sky is one of my favorite projects that we put together using Nocturne, my first fabric collection with QT Fabrics. This pattern was designed to show off the fabrics in the collection, but it can work other collections as well.
NOTE: This PDF pattern is required for this course. The pattern is available for $2 OFF through a link available in the supply list, which you will have access to after you enroll in the course. It will be available for download immediately after purchase.
We’ve got fussy cut owls, framed in woodgrain prints, easy half square triangles that use every print in the line, the feather background to give the eye a place to rest and borders that make use of the chartreuse to give it a pop of color and the trellis geometric print for the border. It really shows off the collection and I love it!
And as always we break down how to make this quilt perfectly at home. I go over how to make perfect half square triangles and make sure you don’t lose any of those points when you assemble your block and join your top.
