Welcome to the Intro to Garment Sewing course by Quilt Addicts Anonymous!
Stephanie Brennan, who has a degree in apparel design from Ball State University, will walk you through two simple skirt patterns step-by step.
The course features 19 videos and is 3 hours, 21 minutes long in its entirety.
She’s designed two skirts for this course. The Simple Pull-On Skirt which can be customized to any measurement and has an elastic waistband all around.
The Simple A-Line Skirt kicks it up notch, showing you how to make a skirt that fits you perfectly with darts, a flat front and elastic back waistband.
NOTE: The PDF patterns are required for this course. The Simple Pull-On Skirt pattern is FREE, and the Simple A-Line Skirt pattern is available for $2 OFF through a link in the supply list, which you will have access to after you enroll in the course. Both patterns will be available for download immediately after purchase.
There are NO ZIPPERS OR BUTTONS! But will you learn everything you to know to measure your body, cut out your skirt pieces, sew a French seam, insert lining and an elastic waistband, sew darts and a double-fold hem.
