Rulerwork Quilting in Diamond Quilt Block – Starburst
I just love diamond blocks. They look a lot harder to put together than they actually are, and I believe they deserve special treatment when you quilt them.
This course ONLY includes the quilting tutorial for this quilt. It is included as part of the pattern course at this link.
So in this tutorial I show you how I use straight and curvy rulers to stitch-in-the-ditch to outline the diamonds and then create uniform arcs inside the blocks. The results are stunning.
Rulerwork looks intimidating at first, but once you get used to keeping the edge of the ruler foot in contact with the edge of your longarm ruler at all times, you can create any shape and have it turn out fabulous every time.
