Galactic
Galactic is a 60-degree diamond star block that uses large diamonds in the center, which is perfect for your too-pretty-to-cut-up fabrics. Then the outer diamonds are smaller and do a good job of tying together all the colors in the fabric collection of your choice.
This course includes both the piecing and quilting tutorials for this quilt. A quilting only course is available at this link.
NOTE: This PDF pattern is required for this course. The pattern is available for $2 OFF through a link available in the supply list, which you will have access to after you enroll in the course. It will be available for download immediately after purchase.
This pattern uses a ruler with all three points like the Clearview Triangle Ruler.
The pattern doesn’t have any of the dreaded Y-seams, and I walk you through all the steps from how to cut your diamonds and triangles to assembling your final rows. With the video a confident beginner or intermediate quilter can absolutely make Galactic.
